In this workshop we get colorful!

We will be learning about and dying with garden grown dyes including: Japanese Indigo, coreopsis, marigold, amaranth, hollyhock, zinnias, madder and chamomile.

Each attendee will be given pre-mordanted swatches of cotton/linen and silk fabric and wool yarns for testing, recording sheet, printed materials on each dyestuff used, and growing tips for at home “palate patches”. Swatches from workshop 1 can be brought and tested as well.
