Tending & Gathering Walks: A Spring Walk with an Ecological Forester

This series of walks is with Annabel (she/they), an ecological forester who began foraging 15 years ago.

Let's walk together, and imagine, and practice seasonal hands-on tending of this ecosystem. And in return, hopefully find some delicious & nutritious spring foods.

We will learn about species we meet here from near and far (like ourselves), read a bit of history in the landscape, consider the future we see growing, and explore what our role could be.

We’ll talk about such as pruning, propagating, protecting, weeding, and planting (featuring recommendations of Flower Power plants!)

And, we’ll make a springy wild beverage or snack together.

$20/person requested (toward continuing this series) but not required ~ kids free.
